We look forward to having you become an active member of the university community. Coming to college will bring many changes to your life, and the Office of New Student Orientation and Support Programs has designed an orientation program to assist you in making a smooth transition into your new environment.
Attendance at an orientation session is mandatory for all incoming students. During Orientation you will meet with representatives in your chosen school or college, take academic placement exams (which will enable us to register you for appropriate level courses), learn about campus resources, network with upper-class student leaders and make new friends. It will be a busy two days, but you will walk away with a clearer perspective of university life and the information to successfully begin your academic career.
